My name's Tom, but most people I know call me Red. I love to make music.

I've experimented with different music making techniques and methods throughout my life. When I was a kid, I played the drums a lot, wrote songs and made recordings with my brothers, Matt & John. I wrote using guitars, keyboards, whatever.

Then I got into turntables, started making sample based music. I spent a year in the Bay Area, California, where I really got into scratching. I returned to England and started making more sample based music, focussing on the potential of the turntable as an instrument.
