Tom Baxter
Tell Her Today

Tom Baxter returns with a refreshing Latino sound with new single Tell Her Today.

Taken from second album Skybound, Tell Her Today is full of passion, desperation and a Latin groove certainly inspired by the full flamenco guitars.

Advising the ways of love, Baxter sings “It's hard to say you love someone/So if you think you love someone, try, try, try/Because that can be the one.

Despite the obvious talent of Baxter as a guitarist, singer and songwriter, sometimes the single can become very repetitive and boring – the lyrics seem to go nowhere throughout the entire three minutes and forty-six seconds of the track.

Born in Suffolk, Tom Baxter spent his childhood days in Cornwall, where he - with his brother Charlie - formed a band in their youth. At 19, he went to a music college in London, doing the usual cover versions in bars. When he eventually began to perform is own material, he finally got the attention of a large audience.

First album Feather and Stone knocked up over 70,000 sales in the UK alone, and Skybound is an excellent follow-up single. Tom Baxter is definitely a name to keep hold of.
